Our approach
London Fire Safety Consultants is a specialist fire safety consultancy service for London, Berkshire and the UK. Rather than sending the same person to every job, we scope each enquiry and assign it to a qualified professional – from our own team or our network of established fire engineering and fire safety consultancies – whose experience matches the building type, its height and the service you need.
That means a chartered fire engineer for a high-rise fire strategy or FRAEW, an experienced assessor for a block of flats FRA, and trained inspectors for fire door and compartmentation surveys.
What happens when you get in touch
- We review your enquiry – the building, its height and use, what you already hold and what's prompted the request
- We confirm the scope – sometimes you need less than you thought; sometimes there's an underlying gap that needs addressing first
- You receive a written proposal – setting out the scope, who will carry out and sign the work, the timescale and a fixed fee
- The work is delivered – site visit, assessment and report, with a single point of contact throughout
- We stay available – for questions from you, your board, residents, the regulator, lenders or insurers once the report is issued
Our standards
- Competence first. We only assign work to professionals with suitable qualifications, training and experience for the service and building – and the person responsible for the report is named in it.
- Current guidance. Reports follow current legislation and guidance, including the Fire Safety Order, the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, the Building Safety Act 2022 and PAS 9980:2026.
- Proportionate advice. We separate historic differences that are acceptable from genuine risks that need action, and prioritise recommendations accordingly.
- Clear writing. Executive summaries are written for non-specialists – boards, residents, lenders and buyers – with the technical detail behind them.
- Professional indemnity. Work is carried out by professionals and firms holding professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the service.
