Privacy policy

How we collect, use and share your personal information.

Who we are

London Fire Safety Consultants ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Our office is at 144 High St, Hounslow TW5 9PY. Contact us at hello@londonfiresafetyconsultants.co.uk or on 020 8058 1692.

What we collect

When you make an enquiry we collect the information you provide – typically your name, organisation, role, email address, phone number, the building's postcode and height, the service you need and any details or documents you share. If you become a client we also keep proposals, correspondence and project records.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and scope the work
  • To prepare a proposal and, if you instruct us, to deliver the service
  • To keep records we're legally required to keep

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and complying with legal obligations. We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

To deliver your project, we share your enquiry details with the specialist consultancy or professional assigned to carry out the work. They use your information only for that project, under their own data protection obligations. Your proposal will name the professional or firm concerned.

Website enquiries are delivered to us by our form provider, Web3Forms, and this website is hosted by Cloudflare; both process data on our behalf. We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Project records are kept for up to 6 years after completion, or longer where professional or regulatory requirements apply.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use cookie-free, privacy-friendly analytics to count visits.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, using the contact details above. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
